Bamboo Textiles New Zealand under our parent company, North Shore International
Ltd., is the distributor in New Zealand for the range of bamboo products designed
and sold in Australia by Bamboo Textiles Australia.
Bamboo Textiles Australia began designing and testing clothing items made from
the new bamboo fibre in 2005, after Bernie Kath was introduced to the fantastic
properties of the fibre whilst in China on a bamboo fact-finding trip with
regard to his other bamboo interests.
Realizing the importance of this new development and its truly significant
likely application to Australia’s harsh climate conditions, Bernie together with
his business partner John Henriksen began trials with clothing items almost
immediately.
They decided from the start that we would only proceed with manufacturing and
marketing of any products if the design had been thoroughly tested and found to
be truly superior. We do not ever want to be importers and/or distributors of
second grade products. This approach has been warmly received and praise of the
items has echoed from the marketplace. We will maintain this attitude.

Bamboo Charcoal Healtch Socks |

Bamboo Charcoal Fibre has the advantage of absorbing toxins through the soles of
your feet. In a similar way charcoal absorbs toxins when administered as an oral
poisoning antidote. Its loosely fitting top is totally non-restrictive to
circulation and is therefore suitable for diabetics or people with circulation
problems. The bamboo charcoal fibre is restricted to the grey sole section of
the sock only. The Overall Composition: 46% Bamboo/ 20% Bamboo Charcoal Fibre28%
Cotton/ 6% Elastane. |
